Victims of Keta tidal waves yet to receive help

Posted by Business in Ghana on September 10, 2008

Residents of Keta in the Volta Region who have been hit by tidal waves in the last week say they are yet to receive any assistance or relief items, despite claims by the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) that the organization has dispatched relief items to the area.  Citi News reporters on the ground at Keta and surrounding areas discovered that most of the residents who have suffered losses as a result of the tidal waves have been going without shelter and food for days after the disaster.
