Results of our Opinion Poll on the state of affairs in Ghana at July 1, 2009

Posted by Business in Ghana on July 15, 2009

Readers opinion is very clear on some points, fuzzy at best in others.
A majority do not think Mills is in charge of affairs in Ghana, 2 out of 3 see the hand of JJ in the background, a clear majority do not like the direction Ghana is going, nearly 40% of Ghanaians in the Diaspora plan on staying abroad in the near future and an overwhelming 71% think it is time for JJ to back away from Ghana politics.

This opinion polls is unnecessary in the first place and more so with regards to the kind of questions contained therein. How can you ask…”is prez Mills in charge”. How do one take charge…what do you expect from him? Let me remind you that when ex-prez kuffour assumed office things were in total sham because he had a different personality compared to Rawlings but now one questioned that, and in time Ghanaians were tuned to his way of doing things. Besides, how can Kuffour become unconcerned with developments in NPP? if not why Jerry? There is every reason for one to believe this is a pro-NPP opinion poll.
