Ayariga Exposed over Mills Jet

Posted by Business in Ghana on September 21, 2009

The information dissemination wing of the Atta Mills Administration has once again demonstrated yet another palpable inefficiency, following its woeful handling of reports that government was on the verge of procuring four new jet planes for the Ghana Air Force.  While Mahama Ayariga, Presidential Spokesperson, and Samuel Okudzeto, a deputy Information Minister, aggressively denied the media reports about the Spartan aircraft government intends to purchase, Defence Minister Major-General (Rtd) Joseph Henry Smith, deputy Chief of Staff Alex Segbefia and Chief of Defence Staff General Peter Augustine Blay, said there were indeed efforts to purchase the planes, and that President Mills had been personally informed of developments so far.

  1. So some of the story..which has been refuted by all the communication machinery of the government is true but the price tag is not. Okay granted, what are we doing with the 10 rolls royce engines again? Priorities people, priorities and we were insulting the NPP for building a presidential palace. What is the matter with NDC and planes?
