Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi still has a lot to say.  He has said a lot in the past, but now seems the time for him to sing his swan song.  After Mr. Fergusson Darko made it to the Daily Guide newspaper to reveal how African Automobile Limited (AAL) short-changed the country in the 1980s, for Pajero cars, under an investigation panel chaired by the Professor, you must ask the question, “how did it come about that the same Prof. went ahead decades later and awarded an identical contract to AAL?”  I needs to know Prof., which way bloweth the wind in your house? Tango With Kumbuor, Critical News, 17th June 2012

This has been a difficult week.  Not for me, but for Koku, Betty, Agbesi, Benjamin, Paa kwesi, (the Amissah Arthur version), Fritz and Togbega Gaabusu of the Gbi Traditional Council.  Togbe Sri and the rest of the Awomefia arrived too late to save the ransacking, stealing of regalia and fighting between the Muslim community and the Indigenes of Hohoe.

I am not sure whether we have an ethnic scuffle or a religious war in Hohoe.  Someone or persons exhumed the body of the Imam and triggered a humanitarian crisis for more than 6,000 people who fled Hohoe.  The retaliations have continued throughout the week and suddenly we are not sure whether our religious and ethnic balance is tilting off center. Critical News, 29th August 2010

Hmm, Christians are very upset this week, when they heard that a group of armed robbers had raided a church after hours and tried to steal cars from the pastors.  Now we hear they are going to make a special petition to the President that Pastors be allowed to bear arms to protect themselves from armed robbers.  Not to protect the Congregation, they are protected by the Holy Spirit and the Pastors have to stay alive to protect them.  Hmmm!
