The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has provided $3.9 million to the people of Ghana through the World Food Programme’s Protracted Relief and Recovery Operation. The funding will benefit 106,000 Ghanaians through nutritional food interventions, food for work, food for training, and income generating activities. The principal beneficiaries include malnourished children, pregnant women and nursing mothers, and people living with HIV and their families in the three Northern regions.
